Operation
Force
Operate the keystoke of the switch vertically, and then increase press strength slowly, by measuring maximum operation force while the travel into the “ON” position
200 ± 50 gf
Travel
Shall be measured from reference line. OFF area from free position shall be more than 0.15mm.
2.5 ± 0.3 m m
6.2.3.
Return
Force
The sample switch is installed such that the direction
of switch operation is vertical and, upon depression of
the stem in its center the whole travel distance, the
force of the stem to return to its free position shall be
measured.
50 gf Min
6.2.4.
Load strength of terminal
Apply 300gf load to terminal of the switch in any direction for 1 minute.
There shall be no sign
of damage
mechanically
and electrically.
6.2.5
Stem
Strength
Placing the switch such that the direction of switch
operation is vertical, the maximum force to withstand
a pull applied opposite to the direction of stem
operation shall be measured.
